For intending migrants to Australia who use our registered migration agent to assist with the visa application process (as a paid service) you will be entitled to FREE basic relocation assistance services.
The free services comprised in the basic relocation package include advisory and other services as follows:
►meet and greet or transport arrangements to accomodation on arrival (cost of any transport to the accomodation is
the visa holder expense)
►arranging temporary accomodation in advance of arrival
►advice regarding banking and transfer of funds
►assistance with residential tenancy applications for those who need to then secure rental accomodation - you should
note that demand for rental accomodation is highly competitive in some cities and locations in Australia - referees
for real estate agencies are required, and inspection of properties is required before an agent can lease a
property
►advice regarding your use of free public health care (Medicare) services upon arrival and how to expedite your
registration - while all new migrants are registered with Medicare on arrival you need to notify Medicare of your
address/contacts etc
►information about registering for tax purposes (or you will be taxed at the highest rate by any employer)
►information about utilities services
►information about telephone and communications providers
►information about setting up your house with whitegoods and other essentials eg locating discount retailers or details
of second hand stores
►assistance with job search information
►supplying details of various multicultural organisations and services in your area
►providing details of community and sporting associations
Some more personalised services over and above these advisory services would incur a fee for service eg performing searches for suitable rental properties that meet specific client requirements e.g. due to religious issues, health issues, access issues; or actually assisting with job applications
